What's included

Most reports I am asked to fix have the same problem. Too many charts, no clear narrative, and the most important number is on slide nine instead of slide one. I rebuild reports so the answer is obvious in the first thirty seconds, then back it up with the supporting data underneath. Whether it is going to your board, your team, or just sitting in your own dashboard so you can sleep at night, the goal is the same: a report you use to make decisions.

    Monthly and quarterly performance reports
    Board decks and investor updates
Performance dashboards in Google Sheets or Notion
    Data visualization and chart design
Executive summaries that lead with the answer
    Custom branding, fonts, and templates
    Print and digital delivery formats
Templates you can reuse every month

Lead with the answer, then defend it with the data.

Every report I produce follows the same skeleton because it works. The headline metric, the one-line interpretation, three supporting charts, and a short list of decisions or asks. Investors, board members, and team leads all read the same way: they want to know whether things are good or bad in fifteen seconds, then they want to understand why.

    • ●Page one is the executive summary. The headline number, the trend, and the one decision the reader needs to make.
    • ●Pages two to four cover the core metrics with charts and a short paragraph of context per section.
    • ●The appendix holds the raw tables and methodology for anyone who wants to dig in.
    • ●Every recurring report uses the same template so month-over-month comparisons are instant.
    • ●I document where each number comes from so the next person updating the report (or me, three months later) is not guessing.

    Business reports FAQ

Most often: monthly performance reports for service businesses, quarterly board updates for startups raising or reporting to investors, performance dashboards for operations teams, and one-off deep-dive reports such as annual reviews, post-launch reviews, and market sizing. If it has numbers and an audience, I can shape it.

You. I work from whatever you already have: Google Sheets, Stripe exports, HubSpot reports, Shopify dashboards, QuickBooks, Notion databases. I do not build new tracking from scratch in a reports engagement (that lives in operations work), but I will tell you what is missing if your data has gaps.

Whatever your audience needs. Investor updates are usually a PDF or Notion page. Internal team reports work well as a recurring Google Slides deck. Operating numbers usually live in a Looker Studio or Google Sheets dashboard. I pick the format in the first call.

Yes, and I recommend it. The first report takes the longest because I am designing the layout, picking the metrics, and writing the narrative structure. After that, monthly updates are mostly data refreshes and can be scoped as ongoing support.

Both, depending on what you want. I can produce a fully written executive summary based on the data and a short call with you, or I can leave the commentary boxes empty for you to fill. Most clients ask me to write a first draft they then edit in their own voice.

Very normal. The first step is usually a quiet cleanup pass: reconciling totals across sheets, fixing date ranges, deduping, and flagging anything that does not add up. I will tell you what I am changing and why before the report goes out.

Reports are quoted based on scope, the number and condition of the data sources, and whether delivery is one-off or recurring. Monthly reporting can be included in ongoing support; you receive a clear fee before work starts.

Two to three weeks from kickoff for a polished, branded report with cleaned data. Subsequent monthly versions usually take three to five days because the template is already built.
